News & Noteworthy:

We're excited about this next term: we have several new GR's, a brand new meeting "How Al-Anon Works" (see below) and a new Treasurer. Kathy S., former DR for our District has gratefully stepped in for more service at the District Level. A big thank-you goes to Vera M. for her years of service as D-19 Treasurer and to the outgoing GRs. And a big warm-hearted welcome to the new GR's who've stepped up for service to Rochester Al-Anon meetings.

District 19 Day of Sharing, Saturday, February 25, 2012. 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Come for a potluck with a panel on "Sponsorship, Service and Serenity," and other fun events!
Monthly District 19 meetings are at 6:30 p.m. Meetings located at 3200 Brighton Henrietta Road, 14623 (at Brighton Pathways To Health).

January 2012, the monthly meetings on the 3rd Monday of every month.
For donations to District 19:

General practice is to allocate group funds as follows, beginning closest to home: Group expenses
  1. District contributions
  2. Al-Anon Information Service contributions (Made out to "AIS")
  3. Area contributions (New York North, including Northern HiLights subscription)
  4. World Service Office (WSO) contributions
